SHIO YUZU

Shio Yuzu is a "lightly salty Yuzu" liqueur. It is made by Kitajima Sake Brewery in Shiga Prefecture. The base of this liqueur is from a Junmai from the same brewery, mellow combined with citrus, salt enhances the flavor, the sugar content is lower so it is easier to feel the flavors of the fruit with a fragrance and a sweet acidity, which brings out the refreshing and original fragrance of Yuzu very well. The natural salt "sea seed" is made using an ancient method. Just by adding a little salt to the liqueur, the flavor and acidity are indescribable. Do not hesitate to use it as a substitute for lemon juice in different dishes or salad dressings.
