Our History
After working in all 47 Japanese prefectures, including as a sales manager for a sake brewery near Osaka, Ludovic had the opportunity to meet families of passionate artisans. These artisans, some of whom have been active for several generations, pass on unique know-how through local products steeped in tradition and authenticity.
Inspired by these encounters and the emotions they aroused, Ludovic decided to share this wealth with the world. Thus was born Japanheim , which means "Japan at home".
At Japanheim, we are committed to:
- Select authentic handicrafts made by Japanese families.
- To transmit the values of respect, tradition and emotion specific to Japanese craftsmanship.
- To reveal the true soul of Japan through each product.
Ludovic Siegler
"Japan has given me a lot, and Japanheim is my way of paying tribute to this country and sharing its cultural and artisanal treasures with you. Thank you for being part of this adventure."
